Andrew Rasiej in the NY Times

Thomas Friedman, one of the times most well known writers and a widely syndicated columnist wrote a glowing piece about Andrew Rasiej. Andrew also managed to raise $800,000 compared to the incumbents $1.2M. At $800K Andrew is a force with a real chance of winning and when that happens NYC politics just won’t be the same.

    Ok, the fundraising numbers you’ve posted are entirely inaccurate. You counted Rasiej’s matching funds but not Betsy’s.

    But of course, given all the mail I’ve received from Rasiej’s campaign, and how deceptive and misleading it always is, I guess you fit right in there.

    Just quoting the NY Times article. You should complain to Thomas Friedman and the editors at the time. :-)
