Random thoughts

Congressman and Senators use a lot of printed signs during their presentations on the floor. I wonder who does the printing for politicians in Washington, DC? I wonder if they have to lobby for printing work.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels. Park Hyatt in Tokyo is the nicest (from the Lost in Translation movie) I think the second best is the Westin Peachtree in Atlanta wonderful views. But hotels are franchises and you don’t always get the same quality of service or views. But one hotel chain I have never been disappointed in are the Hampton Inn hotels. They are always huge, with a kitchen and very comfortable. I think its comfortable because it doesn’t seem as sterile as more expensive hotels. But I’ve never seen a Hampton Inn outside of the USA.

I wonder how much I missed out on having not been a full time student. When I hear people tell me about the parties they had in college and when I hear about frats, I wonder if I missed out. But I doubt I would have partied much if I’d been a full time student.

Next time you travel to Tokyo, try to stay at the Tokyu Excel Shibuya… is like being inside Blade Runner! Waking up and looking Shibuya Square from your hotel room is like part of a dream, and if you are jetlagged is a great feeling.

The Shinjuku Park Tower Hotel you are right… the view is amazing!

For me the best Hotel is located in Dominican Republic, but they dont have wifi.

Regarding your party thang check out the new location for shelter club in nyc, is gonna be amazing! (http://clubshelter.com) or cielo on wednesdays, Louie Vega is spinnin and good music is garanteed.

College is the only time you can stop shaving, party all night, get up at noon, hold a crummy part time job printing signs for a senator, and still have your family be proud of you.

Wow, the Shelter brings back mad memories ;)
“Come to the, come to the, Come to the Shelter.” Still remember that joint.

    E: You’d probably be good A-Phi-A material…

Can’t wait to get back to NYC to check out the new shelter. Timmy Regisford was off the hook on new years eve. In spain it’s completely impossible to have that atmosphere at a club.

    Denis,

Its a shame you may didnt checked out the club I used to manage in Madrid. changoclub, Joe Claussell played there, Kerry Chandler played there and Timmy was invited and he said “yes I want to go” but then things couldnt happen.

In madrid there is a soulful scene “not as good” as shelter of course but if you come to Spain let me know and I will advice you regarding soulful and powerful nites!!

check this out, it was recorded in Madrid!

I’m sure your path would have been slightly different had you stayed in college, but I doubt that it would have changed much what you have done with your life. I ended up finishing college in four years but also was working over fourty hours a week trying to get my company off the ground, not leaving much time for “chasing chicks and getting wasted”. With your accomplishments and ambition I’m sure you would have been even more focused.
